3. Safety and Lawful Conduct

  • Follow applicable laws, venue rules, licensing requirements, capacity limits, and safety requirements.
  • Do not promote violence, credible threats, stalking, trafficking, exploitation, or conduct that creates an unreasonable risk of physical harm.
  • Do not facilitate unlawful controlled substance activity, unlawful gambling, illegal weapons activity, or other criminal conduct.
  • Events involving alcohol, food service, transportation, physical activity, regulated services, weapons, or other elevated risks must comply with applicable law, venue requirements, insurance requirements, and any additional COWORK conditions.

4. Respectful Professional Community

  • No harassment, bullying, threats, hate based abuse, unwanted sexual conduct, or repeated unwanted contact.
  • No unlawful discrimination in access to events, services, or opportunities.
  • No doxxing, publication of private information without authorization, or misuse of attendee information.
  • Professional disagreement and lawful criticism are permitted. These Guidelines do not prohibit truthful reviews or lawful opinions.

5. Fraud, Deception, and Financial Conduct

  • No scams, impersonation, fraudulent fundraising, deceptive sales practices, fake ticketing, fabricated testimonials, or material omissions intended to mislead.
  • No events whose primary purpose depends on misleading income claims, guaranteed returns, unlawful investment solicitation, or disguised recruitment practices.
  • Hosts must accurately disclose when an event includes a sales presentation, recruiting opportunity, fundraising activity, paid upsell, investment discussion, or other material commercial purpose.

6. Spam and Solicitation

  • Do not scrape user information or send unsolicited bulk messages through or because of COWORK.
  • Do not use event attendee information for unrelated marketing without any consent required by law.
  • Do not repeatedly promote unrelated businesses, products, or services in community spaces where such promotion is not permitted.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

  • Only upload content you own or have permission to use.
  • Do not publish defamatory, fraudulent, infringing, malicious, sexually exploitative, or unlawful content.
  • Do not upload malware, malicious code, credential theft tools, or content intended to disrupt the Services.

8. Event Specific Requirements

  • Hosts must identify the actual organizer and provide reliable contact information.
  • Events must have a legitimate location or clear online attendance instructions.
  • Hosts must honor material representations to attendees or promptly disclose changes.
  • Hosts are responsible for refunds and cancellation obligations applicable to their event.
  • Hosts must comply with COWORK requests for information reasonably necessary to assess safety, legality, authenticity, or policy compliance.
  • COWORK may require insurance, waivers, permits, venue confirmation, identity verification, or other documentation for higher risk events.

9. Attendee Responsibilities

  • Follow host and venue rules and lawful safety instructions.
  • Respect other attendees, staff, venue property, and boundaries.
  • Do not attend while engaging in conduct that creates a material safety risk to others.
  • Assess your own ability to participate safely and seek appropriate professional advice where an activity involves health, fitness, legal, financial, or other specialized considerations.

10. Enforcement

COWORK may investigate reports, request information, remove content, decline or remove events, limit distribution, cancel platform based registrations where legally permitted, restrict features, suspend accounts, terminate access, preserve evidence, or contact appropriate authorities when reasonably necessary to enforce these Guidelines or protect users, third parties, COWORK, or the Services.

COWORK may consider severity, context, history, credibility, legal requirements, immediate risk, and available evidence. COWORK is not required to mediate every dispute and does not guarantee that every violation will be detected or prevented.

11. Reporting

Report safety, fraud, harassment, intellectual property, or policy concerns to [SAFETY/REPORT EMAIL OR URL]. For emergencies or immediate threats, contact appropriate emergency services rather than relying on COWORK.
