4. How We Disclose Information

• Service providers and processors that provide hosting, database, cloud, email, analytics, security, customer support, communications, mapping, payment, and other technical or business services. COWORK currently anticipates using infrastructure that includes Supabase; confirm all production vendors before publication.
• Independent event hosts when you register for, communicate about, or participate in their event, to the extent needed to administer the event. Once information is provided to an independent host, that host may act as a separate controller or business responsible for its own privacy practices.
• Businesses, venues, or partners when you request an introduction, submit information to them, participate in a promotion, or otherwise direct us to share information.
• Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and financing sources subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
• Government authorities, law enforcement, courts, regulators, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, or enforce agreements.
• A purchaser, investor, successor, or other party in connection with an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, bankruptcy, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business or assets.

8. Event Hosts as Independent Recipients

When you register for an independently hosted event, information necessary to administer the event may be provided to the listed host. Independent hosts are not COWORK employees or agents merely because they use COWORK. COWORK requires hosts to use attendee information lawfully and for legitimate event related purposes, but COWORK does not control every independent host’s subsequent processing. Review the host’s disclosures where provided and contact the host regarding its independent practices.

9. Data Retention

COWORK retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide the Services, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and protect rights and safety. Retention periods vary by category and context. Information may also remain in backups for a limited period after deletion from active systems.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and using appropriate security practices.

If we learn that such information was collected in a manner requiring deletion or parental authorization, we will take appropriate action. Users must be at least 18 to create an account, host an event, or transact through COWORK unless COWORK expressly provides otherwise in a separate program.

You may unsubscribe from promotional email by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us. Even if you opt out of marketing, COWORK may continue to send non-promotional communications relating to your account, transactions, events, security, legal notices, or service administration.
